Craft's advanced bike pads have been cut using the groundbreaking Lasercut Tech® technology. The Lasercut Tech® procedure allows us to remove the unnecessary volume of foam before the welding. We can then focus on the design without having any uncomfortable hardness caused by the pressure of the foams. In addition, it increases the ventilation by more than 100%. This is the only technology that achieves these fantastic results. All our bike pads have been upgraded for the 2012 Spring/Summer season.
ELITE PAD
The Elite Pad comprises a special mix of three top technologies and a 4-way stretch compound that continually moves with the body. It's a seamless, anatomically molded, antimicrobial and gender-specific pad made of Oeko-Tex-certified fabrics and foams of the highest quality. The Elite Pad is available in three sizes with different densities in order to satisfy any rider's unique demands and needs. Size XS/S is designed for riders weighing 55-75 kg while sizes M/L and XL/XXL are built for riders weighing 70-95 kg and 90+ kg respectively.
1st Technology
For the first time we have a multilayer pad for which we use no film and no chemical addition when melting the layers onto each other. The different layers are melted with a natural flame that passes between the layers, making them melt just enough to attach and become a unique single piece. This process makes it possible to attach different densities to each other and thereby achieve the breathability level of one piece that is free from obstacles interrupting the natural airflow.
2nd Technology
The second important technology is embodied by the central inside foam, which is high-density foam (100 kg) with two great characteristics: It is a special foam with 'exploded bubbles' that conserves big densities and gives support, and allows a greater airflow than any other open-cell polyurethane foam for optimal ventilation.
3rd Technology
The third special part of this pad is the GEL Injection Anti-shock System. On the back of the pad are three separate gel injections that absorb any shock caused by road vibrations. The gel is non-toxic paraffinic oil injected with holes for optimal perspiration. Moreover, the system includes a three-part injection that focuses on the three most important points on the rider body: Two separate points on the ischial bones, one on the right and one on the left bone, and one point in the central perineal area. This gel construction reduces vibrations and pressure significantly in these delicate areas.
4th Technology
The Elite pad is available in three sizes with different densities, which means that any rider will find a pad that satisfies all his or her unique needs and demands. The pad is available in sizes XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL.

Performance Pad
Building on the great popularity of the old Performance Pad, the new version features the same pressure zones but has been upgraded with a refreshing molded design, higher density and EVA Anti-shock System. Moreover, we have increased the precision of the Lasercut Tech® technology for improved comfort.

First Layer
The first layer is made of a printed, top-quality polyester fabric, 4-way stretch fabric that shows exactly what is underneath the pad. It's like a map of the pad technology.
Second Layer
The second layer is made of super-supportive lightweight foam. This special high-density layer increases the support and the airflow at the same time, thanks to the exploded bubble technology of the foam. The layer is laser cut for optimal comfort, support and leg movement.
Third Layer
A great new feature is the EVA Anti-shock System, which dissipates macro and micro vibrations from vertical to horizontal. The third layer is 3 mm thick and perforated with 2 mm holes for enhanced airflow. The EVA foam is covered with a 4-way stretch fabric that decreases friction and protects the Anti-shock System during use and washing. The EVA Anti-shock System is located in the rear part of the pad.
